For Podcasters

Share Recordings With Editors and Guests Anywhere

Send full recordings, edits and session files to editors, co-hosts and guests with no compression, no size limits and no subscription.

Podcast files have outgrown email and basic cloud storage

Modern podcast production produces files that are larger and more sensitive to quality loss than the general public assumes. A two-hour multi-guest episode recorded at 24-bit, 48 kHz across four separate audio tracks easily exceeds 6 GB. A full multi-track session including reference takes, ambient recordings and alternates pushes that into 20 to 50 GB. And the files themselves matter: a re-encoded MP3 is not what your editor wants to mix.

Most consumer file-sharing tools aren't built for this. Email attachments cap well below useful sizes. Google Drive often re-encodes audio for streaming. WeTransfer's free tier handles individual files but not full sessions. Subscription services charge monthly whether you ship one episode a week or one a month.

Move audio fast, in original quality, without subscription overhead

TransferRocket transfers files bit-for-bit identical to the original. WAV, FLAC, MP3 at any bit rate, full session ZIPs, multi-track recordings: everything arrives exactly as you sent it.

Transfers up to 200 GB cover even the longest, most-tracked recordings in a single delivery. Pay-per-use pricing means you pay when you actually deliver an episode, not every month between episodes. For podcasters publishing weekly or biweekly, this works out 70 to 80 percent cheaper than subscription alternatives.

The built-in audio preview lets editors and guests listen to recordings directly in the browser before downloading the full session. Password protection keeps embargoed episodes confidential. Storage region selection lets you serve international guests and editors from the closest region.

Sending an episode to your editor

You've just wrapped recording a two-hour episode with two remote guests. You have four separate audio tracks (you, guest A, guest B, ambient room mic) at 24-bit, 48 kHz, plus a reference rough cut and notes. Around 8 GB total.

You drag the recording folder into TransferRocket, set a 14-day storage duration, choose the storage region closest to your editor, and enter their email. The upload runs in the background.

Your editor receives an email with a secure link. They preview a couple of takes in the browser to confirm the right delivery, then download the full set of tracks. You see exactly when they start downloading.

No monthly subscription, no quality loss, no per-track caps. You pay for the delivery once and move on to the next episode.

Frequently asked questions

Can I send raw recordings to my editor?
Yes. TransferRocket handles full multi-track recordings, lossless WAV files, and complete session folders. Files are transferred bit-for-bit identical, with no compression or re-encoding, so your editor receives exactly what was recorded.
Can I send recordings to remote guests for review?
Yes. Recipients can preview audio directly in the browser before downloading. Useful for review rounds where guests want to verify the recording before downloading the full file, or for sending preview cuts before final episode delivery.
What audio formats are supported?
All of them. WAV, FLAC, MP3, AAC, M4A, OGG, AIFF and any other audio format are transferred bit-for-bit identical. The built-in audio preview supports MP3, OGG, WAV, AAC, M4A and FLAC for in-browser playback.
Can I send full multi-track session files?
Yes. Package your DAW session folder (Logic, Pro Tools, Reaper, Audacity) as a ZIP and send it as a single transfer. Transfers up to 200 GB easily handle even multi-hour multi-guest recordings with all reference takes and processing.
Can my guest send recordings back to me?
Currently TransferRocket is for sending. For collaborators sending recordings to you, share a link to TransferRocket and have them send a transfer to your email. We're working on a dedicated receive-files feature for this workflow.
Is there a subscription required?
No. TransferRocket uses pay-per-use pricing. You only pay when you send transfers larger than 5 GB. Episode-by-episode delivery typically works out far cheaper than subscription alternatives, with no fixed monthly cost.
