For Filmmakers

Move Dailies, Masters and Festival Deliverables Securely

Send ProRes, DNxHD, cinema RAW and DCPs to editors, colourists and festivals with full format fidelity and confidentiality.

Filmmaking workflows demand more than off-the-shelf tools

A feature-length ProRes master easily exceeds 150 GB. A DCP for a festival submission can span multiple reels and hundreds of gigabytes. Dailies from a shooting day in ARRI RAW or BRAW will cross 100 GB routinely. These files need to move between DPs, editors, colourists, VFX teams and festival programmers, often internationally, often on tight deadlines, often under strict confidentiality.

Consumer file sharing tools aren't built for this. Free tiers don't come close to the file sizes involved. Most subscription services weren't designed for the intermittent, production-cycle nature of filmmaking work. You shoot intensely for weeks, then you're in post for months with periodic handoffs. Paying a monthly fee the whole time is wasteful. And re-encoding, compression or format conversion during transfer is simply not acceptable.

Format fidelity, confidentiality, flexible storage

TransferRocket moves files exactly as you sent them. ProRes 422 HQ, DNxHD, BRAW, R3D, ARRI RAW, CinemaDNG, full-DCP packages: every format transfers bit-for-bit identical. No re-encoding, no hidden compression, no format conversion. What your colourist downloads is exactly what your DIT uploaded.

Password protection is free on every transfer, which is essential for unreleased cuts, festival submissions and work under NDA. Storage region selection lets you meet jurisdictional requirements for international productions. Extended storage durations support long post-production cycles where the same master might need to be accessible over weeks.

Pay-per-use pricing fits the rhythm of production. You pay when you hand off dailies, when you deliver a cut for review, when you send the final master for distribution, not every month in between.

A festival submission delivery

Your feature has been accepted to a festival. You need to send the DCP to the programmer: 180 GB across multiple reels, absolutely confidential pre-premiere.

You drag the DCP folder into TransferRocket, set a 30-day storage duration to cover the submission window, choose the nearest EU storage region for compliance, enable password protection, and optionally provide your own encryption key using SSE-C for maximum confidentiality.

The programmer receives a secure link, enters the password, and downloads the full DCP, identical to what you uploaded, with no format changes. You see exactly when they accessed and completed the download.

You pay once for this delivery. No monthly subscription that continues charging you through the six months of festival cycles.
